George Brown College

PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT EXCHANGE (PDX) AND THE FASHION EXCHANGE (FX)

Toronto, Ontario

George Brown College’s Product Development Exchange (PDX) lab at the Casa Loma Campus features leading-edge rapid prototyping tools including 3D printers, laser and water jet cutters, CNC machines, and mechanical and electrical component building and testing equipment, for iterative development of prototypes.

Alongside PDX is the Fashion Exchange (FX) which aims to model and foster innovative, ethical, and environmentally and socially sustainable production. FX is a vibrant hub where fashion education, design, production, entrepreneurship, and engagement come together under one roof. FX applied research program enables industry collaboration with GBC research teams to address technical challenges and research questions specific to the partner organization.
